Students who successfully complete the training can receive anywhere from 4 to 24 hours of TCOLE or CLOE credit, depending on the type of training or module they attend.
Note: For all trainings that satisfy legislatively mandated courses, students will not see these equivalency course numbers listed in their TCOLE Personal Status Reports. However, all equivalencies have been processed within TCLEDDS.  Please refer to the Intermediate PO Proficiency Chart (version dated 5.12.16) for reference. For courses attended prior to May 2016, please refer to the Intermediate PO Proficiency Chart (version dated 6.12.15).


It is free to host a joint training event at your agency!  There is no charge for Instructors to travel to your agency to teach.  Agencies interested in hosting must meet the following requirements:

  • Ensure a minimum of 10 law enforcement officers are in attendance 
  • Ensure a minimum of 5 DFPS investigative staff are in attendance
  • Provide a facility (at no cost) that can accommodate 15+ students comfortably
  • Provide a media projector and screen
